The S-Bahn station at Stuttgart Airport is located on level 1 (signposted with S). A ticket must be purchased before entering the platform. The orange ticket machines are located directly in front of the escalator. A ticket for 3 zones is required for the journey to the university/ city centre area. Enter the code ‘003’ on the ticket machine keypad and pay for the ticket by cash or card. On the platform, board the S-Bahn line S2 or S3, direction Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and travel to the S-Bahn station ‘Hauptbahnhof ’(underground). Then either walk or take the tram lines U9 and U14 to ‘Friedrichsbau/ Börsenplatz’ or alternatively take bus lines 40 or 42 to ‘Katharinenhospital’.
